Search Engine Optimisation

It’s all part of the package

Search Engine Optimisation is a constantly changing field and one that requires a lot of work to do properly and keep on top of. It is an integral part of web design and should be built in to your site from the ground up.

It is surprising just how many web sites, even big budget sites, fail to take this into account and ignore even the most fundamental rules.

I don’t make any wild claims about getting you to the top of the list on Google, or promise you thousands of hits in the first month. You should be wary of anyone who does!

However, it is my business to know what techniques are best to ensure your site appears on the search pages, so I can promise that my designs incorporate current theory best practice on search engine optimisation.

Proven track record

Many of my web design clients have been delighted with how well their sites perform on Google and the other search engines.

Examples

Search Google for "Garden Gifts for Women" Search Google for "Garden Gifts for Women"
If you click this link, you'll see the site at the top of the list (just below the sponsored/paid for links) is Garden Divas, a valued client of mine. After designing and building their site, I succeeded in getting them to the top of the Google results page for this phrase and others.

Search Google for "Pond Cleaning In Hertfordshire" Search Google for "Pond Cleaning In Hertfordshire"
Top of the list is Women With Waders, another client of mine. My Web Design and Search Engine Optimisation work has succeeded in placing their site at the top of the Google results page for this phrase and others.

Google Search: "German Occupation of Channel Islands" Google Search: "German Occupation of Channel Islands"
The site at the top of the list (well almost, just below Wikipedia!) is Living With The Enemy, another success story aided by my Web Design and Search Engine Optiimsation work.

If you have an existing site that isn’t performing, talk to me about improvements that can be made. Please feel free to contact me for advice.
