Hosting and Domain Names
You need web design, but what about the rest?
You’ll need a web site hosting and domain name package to host your new web site, and I arrange this as part of my web design service.
Typical costs are as follows:
For more web space than you’ll ever need, with all the features you’ll need:
£43.89 per year for most sites including an e-commerce/database driven site, or £87.89 per year for a site that requires more than one database or other special features.
Plus your own .co.uk domain name: £2.95 per year, and/or your own .com domain name: £8.89 per year.
In other words, you’ll be paying no more than £99.73 a year to show your site to the world, but it is likely to be be just £46.84 for an average site with a single database.
