Physiofirst Centre Grimsby
A physiotherapy treatment clinic in North East Lincolnshire for sports injuries, musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiovascular and respiratory disorders.
The company asked me to design a new visually attractive website to replace an old underperforming template-derived site.

Exposed and Recorded
Exposed and Recorded is a newly established not-for-profit organisation created to provide free assistance to everyday people fighting for justice.
The client asked me to build a website with a simple uncluttered look and a user-friendly, easy to navigate design.
Broadview Windows
One of Hertfordshire's leading installers of windows, doors and conservatories needed a new website to promote the high quality of their products and reflect their established visual identity.

Talana Hotel
A new design to replace a website I had previously built several years ago for a hotel based in Jersey, Channel Islands.
The old site was in need of an update to take advantage of modern SEO techniques and design methods. In a highly competitive field, this family run hotel needs to stand out from the crowd, and the new site will help them achieve this.

A full hosting, domain name and web design package for a client based in the island of Rhodes, Greece.

Mondside Ltd
A a key European distributor of electric motors, pumps and gearboxes required a modern website with SEO built in.
They had a logo which carried a certain amount of brand equity but was beginning to look dated, so it was necessary for me to make some enhancements.

An award winning engineering company specialising in machining and manufacturing for the F1/Motorsport, Aerospace, Defence and Oil and Gas industries. The company had an existing logo and visual identity and needed to bring their web presence up to date.

Honeycomb Technologies
This advanced Data Management software developer had an existing logo and the beginnings of a visual identity and it was decided that a brand new site showing their revamped product range was required.

Protec Football Academy
A London based Football Academy asked me to design and build a new website to promote their football development programme. The project required web design, search engine optimisation and some copy writing.
Protec has been highly successful over a number of years and many boys who trained with them have moved on to sign contracts with professional clubs. Their old website was becoming out of date in terms of design and underlying technology and my new design gave it a welcome revamp.

Balance Hypnosis London
A hypnotherapist based in North London appointed me to design a complete visual identity for her business, to include a new search engine optimised website, business stationery and promotional leaflets.
The client required a site that projected a professional image with a simple uncluttered layout. She gave me a list of headings and some ideas about colours she liked.

A local garage specialising in vehicle repairs, servicing and MOT testing asked me to design and build them a new website, complete with SEO built in.

Arlesey Parent and Toddler Group
I had to get the crayons out for this one! My local Parent & Toddler Group, a registered charity, had received some funding from the Lottery and asked me to design and build their web site.
I was keen to oblige, as it made a change from all the usual corporate stuff I get involved in. The site had to be informative but at the same time reflect the fun, informal nature of the group.
The result is a site that they are very pleased with and proud to show off!
Datum Motorsport
Datum Motorsport is a complete race car preparation, set up and development service. They needed a web site that would reflect the high octane excitement of their business and show how they support all aspects of race cars, from engine and gearbox to suspension and chassis, and all types of car, from some of the worlds finest vintage sports cars to modern race cars for various teams.

TagKai Gundogs
TagKai Gundogs is a Kennel Club Accredited Breeder of working English Springer and Cocker Spaniels. They wanted a website that would make them stand out in the gundog community as experts on breeding and rearing high pedigree good natured dogs.
The result is a website that has gained many positive comments within the gundog community and will help to draw attention to them as one of the experts in the field.

Enterprise School of Motoring
A web design and logo design project for a startup driving school. ESM wanted a website with a logo that would make them stand out from the crowd as well as help them achieve a good placing in the search engine results.
I decided to use a shield motif for the logo, to promote the idea of safe driving. It incorporates the ubiquitous L plate design, but I added some distortion to offset the usual flat square look and to give it some dimension and appeal.
Women With Waders
A real success story for one of my clients. After first building a site for them in 2006, and then a completely new site in 2009, I completed a major overhaul of the site for 2010, in the interests of keeping things fresh.
The client has reached a point where they rely almost entirely on the website to generate business, and this has proved a very cost effective form of marketing compared with magazine advertising and other forms of promotion.
Living With The Enemy
An ecommerce web design project for a book, DVD and CD telling the true story of the German occupation of the British Channel Islands during World War II.
The site had to offer a unique insight into this fascinating subject and allow visitors to buy the physical items as well as download digital versions.
Merton Mencap
Merton Mencap is a registered charity affiliated to the Royal Mencap Society. They asked me to design and build a web site to increase awareness of the charity and the good work they do.
The site had to build on the established visual identity of Royal Mencap Society and present a friendly, easy to use interface to cater for users who may have learning disabilities.

This specialist in restoration and heritage locks and ironmongery required my web design services to design and build a new web site for their business.
The site had to be indicative of the ‘heritage’ nature of their business and incorporate information on their wide range of services as well as a ‘portfolio’ of past projects the company has worked on.

The Insurance Charities
The Insurance Charities gives financial and practical support to past and present employees of the insurance industry, and their dependent relatives, who are suffering financial hardship. I first built a site for this charity in 2006, and then a completely new site in 2008, to keep things fresh.
The site had to include material for both supporters and potential beneficiaries of the charity, and is regularly updated with information about fundraising events.

A web site for an electrical engineering company who specialise in the design and manufacture of control panels for all industries, plus electrical installations for the domestic and commercial markets.
They asked me to design and build their web site using their existing company logo and visuals. The site utilises the latest SEO techniques to enable the company to be seen and stay ahead of their competitors.

Barn View Cottages
I was commissioned to design a complete visual identity for these luxury self-catering holiday cottages in Mid Wales, including a web site, promotional material and business stationery. In the designs, I wanted to reflect the traditional Welsh stone and timber cladding construction of the cottages.
The colour palette consists of earth tones like browns and greens and the font family is Warnock Pro, chosen for it’s classic serif style and easy readability. Zapfino is used for caption text.
