The problem
Following the acquisition of VECTr by an existing client, the business needed a new website to support its rebrand and future growth.
The branding and page designs had already been created by an external graphic designer, so the challenge wasn’t to create the visual identity, but to build a WordPress website that faithfully reproduced the approved designs while delivering a fast, responsive and easy-to-manage website.
The client needed a developer they could trust to translate the mock-ups into a finished website without compromising the designer’s vision.
The solution
Working from the supplied designs and brand assets, I developed a bespoke WordPress website that accurately reflects the designer’s vision across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
Particular attention was paid to spacing, typography and responsive layouts to ensure the finished website matched the approved concepts as closely as possible. Behind the scenes, the site was built with a clean, maintainable codebase, giving the client an intuitive content management system and a solid platform for future development.
Having previously worked with the acquiring company, I was able to integrate seamlessly into the project and provide a reliable link between design and development, delivering a website that combines visual accuracy with the flexibility and performance expected from a bespoke WordPress build.
The result
The finished website faithfully reproduces the approved design while providing the client with a robust, bespoke WordPress website that is fast, responsive and easy to manage.
It demonstrates my ability to work collaboratively with designers and agencies, turning creative concepts into high-quality websites without losing the detail that makes a design successful.
